~~What's the story about?

Dozens of doughnuts have disappeared from Dave's Diner. Who took
them?  Detective Dog is on the trail of  doughnut dust and she thinks that
she can find the thief!  The trail leads right into Debbie's Deli. 
So She steps inside the deli.  Suddenly, the light flashes on. "Surprise" yell
Detective Dog's friends.  Today is Detective Dog's birthday. So her friends
prepare the party for her.  And also Dave tells her that he only pretends
the doughnuts disappeared. It was Dave that made the trail of doughnut
dust to lead the detective to the party.  At her birthday, most of all
she is delighted to be able to eat dozens and dozens of delicious
doughnuts!~~
