뉴욕 맨해튼섬의 최남단(New York Manhattan's Southern extremity)

왼쪽의 허드슨강과 오른쪽의 이스트강에 둘러싸인 맨해튼은 세계의 상업 ·금융 ·문화의 중심지이다.

그림에 보이는 최남단에는 포대공원(Battery Park)이 있으며

스테튼섬에 가는 페리가 이 곳에서 출발한다.

Manhattan which is surrounded in the East River on the right  and  the Hudson River on the left

is the world's commercial and financial and cultural center.

There is a Battery park in the southern tip you see in the picture and

 ferry to Staten island will depart from this place.
