Pearl Harbor

 

진주만은 1941년 12월7일 미국인들의 가슴에 특별한 장소로 기억된다.

프랜클린 루즈벨트 대통령은 연설에서 그날은 불명예스럽게 산 날이라고 말했다.

그 날, 일본이 진주만에서 미국 해군 모함을  공격해서 세계2차대전으로 미국을 이끌었던 날이다.

미국 아리조나주에 세워진 기념비는 그 공격에서 죽은 2388명의 희생자들에게 경의를 표한다.

 

Pearl Harbor was remembered as a special place

 in the hearts of Americans on December 7th,1941.

In the words of President Franklin D.Roosevelt,

he said  that it was a date that had lived in infamy.

On that day , Japan attacked US.navy ships in the Pearl harbor

and brought the US. into World War II.

The US. Arizona Memorial pays tribute to the 2388 people who died in the attack.

궁전 내부를 보려면 미리 투어를 예약해야 한다. 투어는 화~토요일만 가능하다.

매주 금요일 정오부터 1시간 동안 정원에서 로열 하와이언 밴드의 무료 공연이 열린다.
